Pandemic or no pandemic, keeping seniors connected and reducing social isolation have always been at the core of Sunshine Centres’ mission, vision, and values. Since the early days of the COVID-19 crisis, we have been providing seniors with virtual and dial-in social and recreational programming 15 times a week along with friendly phone-calling to keep seniors connected. Not only do these services help maintain seniors’ social connection and emotional well-being, but they also allow us to link seniors with other services, such as grocery and food delivery. Your support will help us continue supporting seniors throughout the pandemic.
