  • If you’re looking for a place to find support and discuss life’s challenges, What’s on Your Mind? is the program for you. Whether you feel like talking or just want to come and listen, this program provides participants with a caring space to find community around life’s challenges.

COVID-19 Safety Measures for In-Person Programming

 

Updated Vaccination Policy:

  • 1. Staff, seniors, volunteers, outside facilitators and contractors are required to have 2 doses of the vaccine. Proof of vaccination status will be required to attend our programs and to work or volunteer at them;
  • 2. Masks are required for all indoor activities in common areas. Masks are not required outside;
  • 3. Screening of seniors will take place the day before program and when the seniors arrive at program. The Program Coordinators of seniors groups attending Camp Sunshine will be asked to ensure that their seniors are screened prior to attending our program;
  • 4. Social distancing of 2 metres will be practised wherever possible. Please do not come to program if you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19;
  • 5. This policy will be reviewed monthly and modified in accordance with government regulations and public health measures related to COVID-19. 

Sunshine Centres for Seniors is committed to keeping our employees, visitors, and the public safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will monitor and follow the guidelines set forth by provincial, federal, and world health authorities, and update our protocols as recommended or mandated.
